Faithfully led Monterey Presbyterian Church for the past four years (one year longer than he had originally intended!), and
Provided strong leadership (and leadership training!), and
Shared his considerable skill and talent as a musician, and
Helped the church thrive, especially during two years of global pandemic, and
Introduced us to new ways to use technology for worship and outreach, and
Increased membership and attendance, especially among youth, and
Never let us be lazy Christians, and finally,
Has left us in a much better place than before his coming here,

Now, be it highly resolved that we, the session of Monterey Presbyterian Church, do hereby proclaim our deep appreciation, gratitude, and respect for Pastor Rick, and wish for him the very best that God may bestow upon him for the next verse in his life’s song.
